Why the Best WFM Solutions Aren’t Born in the Boardroom
In the world of Strategic Workforce Management, there is a common temptation: to jump straight to the "Solution." We see a gap, we know the tech, and we want to fix it.
To truly transform an organization’s WFM capacity, you have to go to the ground level. While VPs and Executives provide the vision, the end users provide the reality.
Why "Ground-Level" discovery is non-negotiable:
✅ Executive Vision vs. Regular Usage: High-level reporting tells you what should be happening. Watching regular usage tells you what is happening.
✅ Identifying True Capacity: You cannot calculate WFM capacity based on theoretical models. You find it by understanding the friction points, workarounds, and daily habits of the people actually using the system.
✅ Building Technical Empathy: When you understand the "why" behind a current process, your eventual solution feels like an upgrade, not an imposition.
It’s about building a partnership that respects the current workflow while bridge-building toward a more efficient future.
